Event Module Prices Are Wrong

FAQ

Q:  I've changed the prices on some items I'm using for my match, and now the screen shows a mixture of the old and new prices and the shooter totals are wrong.  What's happening?

A:  The Event Module creates a "snapshot" of the user's item prices when you assign them to him (similarly to the way the registration for a match uses a snapshot.)

An advantage of this is that you can change your registration fee after a certain date and subsequent shooters will be assigned the new fee but guys who made it before the deadline will not be affected.  (Of course, you could also create a separate item called 'Early Registration'.)

If you want to change the fee someone is paying after you've assigned his event items, you'll need to refresh the item or items manually.
Update: The current version of ForScore now includes a button to bulk-refresh everybody presently registered for a match. The following procedure is still valid for selectively refreshing.

This screen shot shows the price mismatch in the 'each' and 'total' columns:

To fix it, double-click the errant item or highlight it and click Change (note that the "Record Will Be Changed" window still shows the snapshot price.  Then click OK.
