Most Accurate Strategies

From its first incarnations, ForScore has calculated Most Accurate shooter and Most Accurate results strictly based on target points down.

Someone pointed out, however, that a person could win most accurate even if he had multiple hits-on-non-threats, as those were not being taken into account. There was a good bit of discussion on idpaforum.

You now have three options as to how you want to calculate Most Accurate results for your matches.

•	As before - based strictly on target points down.

•

"Weighted" - for the Most Accurate results only (this does not affect any other result pages) it adds the equivalent of 10 points down for each non-threat. (10 points is equivalent to the 5 second non-threat penalty). Thus, somebody with 32 points down and 2 HNTs will be ranked as if he had 52 points down.

•	Eliminated - implying that a hit on a non-threat is sufficiently grave that somebody with such a hit shouldn't be considered the "most accurate".

If you select the "weighted" option, both print/PDF and web Most Accurate results will add another column displaying how many HNT each shooter had.

With either of the two new options, the Most Accurate results will include an explanation.
